Our Classic Golf Club
Our golf course features 6,409 yards of well-manicured, relatively hilly, tree-lined fairways that will be sure to challenge your skills. Unlike some of newer golf courses, our classic golf course is protected by unique and difficult green complexes.
Inside the clubhouse, members are offered everything from casual to formal dining in any one of our small or larger dining rooms. Our expansive ballroom can accommodate large weddings and special occasion parties.
Whether it’s a day on our well-manicured golf course, a summer afternoon at the pool, a game or tennis or pickleball, or a special evening dining in our clubhouse, the Salem Golf Club offers all of this and so much more to it’s members.
Salem Golf Club is Born
SGC was established when several Salem community leaders banned together to purchase Timothy Gee Farm.
Second Nine
In order to have a full 18 hole course, an additional 9 holes was added to the original 9 holes.
Course Redesign
Geoffrey Cornish redesigned the course in 1981, making it the fine and challenging course that it is today.
New Beginnings
John Buta purchases club from membership group, starting new beginnings but keeping the rich history of the club.
